Life Lately: November 2018

Evening All!

I just thought I would pop on another post about what I have been getting unto this month. November is always a big month for me because it’s my birthday month! Another year older and I am sure this is going to be the busiest year to date. You can read about my birthday weekend over on my other post and read about our time at Boclair House. The rest of my birthday was just about chilling out and spending time with the family.

November was also the month we got to meet our newest addition to the Nelson Family. Christmas came early for me when Ross surprised me with a puppy and I have been full of excitement since. She is currently based in Sunderland so we took the time out to travel down and meet her. Nowadays, you have to be super careful when buying a puppy so there was no way we were waiting until the day we took her home. Bailey was everything we could have hoped for and we can’t wait to her bring her home on December 1st.

I even treated myself to a new camera for my upcoming projects and adventures. I went for the Olympus Pen E-PL8 and I managed to get it for an absolute bargain from Curry’s. It is currently on sale for £299, saving £150. It’s a great christmas present if you know anyone who loves taking pictures. The thing I love most about it is being able to send all the pictures or videos directly to your phone. It’s so handy for social media. Here are some pictures I took with it on Sunday. I used to use a canon and I had it since I was in high school, but over time it became heavy and awkward to carry about with me, especially if I was using a small handbag (priorities of course!).

I’ve also been living in my new black faux fur cape from Marks & Spencer’s. It is one of my favourite pieces because its so versatile. You can wear it casual with jeans or if you are going out for the night it can look very smart and sophisticated. The material is super soft, none of that horrible scratchy stuff! Click here to shop and pick one up for yourself.

This week will be an important milestone in my personal life and in my professional life as I am set to undergo a massive change. It’s totally knocked the energy out me for the last two weeks with worry and anxiety, but as it gets closer I am feeling up for the challenge. All will be revealed next weekend…

Until then
